"I already knew that the rage with which
we lived made it hard for us to think
straight." Clarence Thomas, one of our newly appointed Supreme
Court justices writes. Throughout his autobiography, entitled
"My Grandfather's Son" brother Thomas reveals the racial tilt
of his perception of life as he struggled his way to the top.
The Master of all truth, Jesus Christ, tells us "His yoke is easy, his burden is light."
You do not have to bear the burden of stress and anger you will generate by seeing every obstacle as white man's oppression.
"WE BATTLE NOT AGAINST FLESH AND BLOOD,... WE BATTLE AGAINST POWERS AND PRINCIPALITIES." By interpreting every obstacle encountered as white racism, you occupy your mind with judging the difficult to discern motives of others like a fishermen full time occupied trying to catch fish; and in doing so the rest of the world moves on without you, and you are left behind in regard to the necessary spiritual development to become the individual you ought to be.
Racism is not the root of all evil, the love of money is.
Whites oppress whites. Orientals oppress Orientals. Latino's oppress Latino's. How is it many black Americans point to such acts of oppression as racism when they find themselves numbered among the oppressed? Such ILL'ogic suggests oppressing blacks is racist but oppressing people of other races is only opportunist.
To make matters worse, black Americans are telling non blacks we do not know the racism they are suffering. Therefore, we are disqualified from the discussion of racism, discrimination, and racial profiling just to name a few.
God forbid Ole' Abe should hear such rhetoric and roll over in his grave.
When such lingo is slung around in public by black Americans, other races are supposed to believe it is necessary to be black to be expert racial issues.
      Ouch!
There is discrimination because of color, discrimination because of long hair, discrimination because of beards, discrimination because of attire, discrimination because of age, discrimination because of lack of education, discrimination because of religion, discrimination because of unattractiveness, discrimination because of poverty. Discrimination is not isolated to skin color.
Do you black folks think the Jewish people did not understand discrimination during World War II? There was not one nation! not one nation! opening its doors to their race trapped in Europe during World War II.
Do you think the survivors of the Armenian Genocide in Europe do not understand discrimination and racism?
Ask the Muslims in Crotia how they liked being massacred by the Serbians not too long ago!
God exalts those who humble themselves to truth. Saying you alone understand discrimination is discriminatory. Now you are judging people by their skin color! Now you are racist! How convenient for you to tell other races they have nothing to say to you about discrimination and racism. How egotistically puffed are you who say such things going to get before someone turns on the Light?
Now that a couple of serious admonishments have been delivered here for those African Americans who are out of control with a continual finger pointing judgmentalism that makes you so unattractive, you invite yourselves to be ostracized by other races.
In other words, every whiner and complainer in the African American race or any race needs to consider whether or not they have become Generators of Racism by turning people off continually with unacceptable behaviour.
Now lets talk about Clarence Thomas.
He went through 103 days of hell on earth during his confirmation to the Supreme Court due to the testimony of Anita Hill, a former black employee. Instead of pointing the finger at Anita for falsely accusing him of sexual advances and harrassment, brother Thomas blamed white men in the Senate for leaking the story.
I'm sure Capital Hill is a snake pit of elected officials Clarence, but Anita jumped into their hands and said, "I am ready to bring Clarence Thomas down."
Since you didn't have anything substantial (or did you) to bring Anita to accountability, ... you point the finger at the white race.
Well, Clarence, we honest white folk of America have to give you credit. You know how to be Politically Correct.
You're a very smart man. You knew your more stedfast constituency is black America so you held fast to the possibility the white men on Capital Hill might regain their sense of balance and approve your nomination to the Supreme Court, and your ship sailed into shore. Sure proof you know how to Captain your vessel in troubled waters to a safe port where your employment is guaranteed for the rest of your life.

Anita Hill continued to gain access to the Press because the
opposition party which happened to be the Democrats, gave credibility
to her unsubstantiated accusations as they would against any white
candidate for the Supreme Court they wanted to drive off. The fact
she wrote a book to go on the warpath against sexual harrassment
in the workplace suggests money motives on her part.
Clarence Thomas is a rare American black Republican. His beliefs were influenced by his belief in the God of the Bible. The Democrats are essentially non believers. It is rare to find a believer among them.
For Thomas to say they were against him because of his skin color is presumptuous. They certainly would not dare say so, so why would he?
Anita Hill certainly was not against him because of his skin color. In fact, Thomas could not figure out why she was against him even though I understand she had a book out her Publisher was trying to stimulate sales for.
We are told in holy Scripture, "MAN FIGHTING DAILY OPPRESSES ME." Surely Clarence Thomas is not free from men fighting daily to get their way, and neither are you irregardless of your skin color.
We are back to whites oppressing whites, black oppressing blacks, Orientals oppressing Orientals, and Latino's oppresssing Latino's.
Brother Thomas certainly did encounter racism everywhere he went in life. This in itself is aggravated by his misinterpreting every opposition as racist in nature. We are to "HIDE THE WORD OF GOD IN OUR HEART THAT WE MIGHT NOT SIN AGAINST GOD."
When the Word of God is hidden in our heart, we can use it to to discern "THE THOUGHTS AND INTENTS OF THE HEART" of others. Hebrews 4:12
By his own testimony, brother Thomas was more involved in drinking than in studying the Word of God to hide it in his heart. He excelled in his studies. Worked hard to pay his own way through several schools including Yale, but his study of the holy Word was not directed toward hiding it in his heart.
Brother Thomas's commitment to God and his holy Word was one of seeking consolation from it as so many others do. God asked for his whole heart, soul, mind and strength; but Clarence Thomas gave his whole heart, soul, mind and strength to school and to hard work toward his career advancement.
Much of the misery he suffered was self afflicted. Many times in his autobiography we find him tormented by his perception of existing racism in America as though racism were the only obstacle God had provided black Americans.
Clarence has a white wife who appears to be a fine woman. Supportive. Loyal. Loving. She is also attractive and lady like in the way she carries herself. This makes him very saleable in white society doesn't it. A white woman approves of him, therefore he must be an all right guy.
During his 103 day confirmation crisis Thomas was made weak by his constant agonizing over the racism he perceived in the United States Senate. Had he simply seen their opposition for what it was, rather than bagging it all as racism; he might not have felt picked on.
Clarence Thomas was not the first Supreme Court candidate to get run through the grinder by the Senate. He'll not be the last. Politicians will play the hard game of politics ruthlessly as long as there are politicians. They were not trying to lynch Clarence Thomas because he was black. They were trying to create leverage in discounting him to where they could say to President Bush Sr., "We will approve your Supreme Court appointee if you give us thus and so." Each candidate needs to understand the way the process of confirmation works. Its part of the meat grinder nature of democracy.
So, although there may have been some racism involved; Clarence Thomas would have been wiser to see the corrupt Senate Democrats for what they really are. A bunch of trecherous manipulators.
Throughout his ordeal, Clerence Thomas had President Bush and Republican Senators who stuck by him and many white friends praying and supporting him in every possible way. There was no need for him to torment himself emotionally with the thought he was going to be rejected because of the color of his skin or whine about losing his reputation.
Anita Hill is a looker. She got good press in the beginning, but in the end the American people saw the abundance of evidence was on Clarence Thomas's side as the stories played themselves out in the American Press.
Clarence Thomas was appointed Supreme Court Justice for life.
He's at the top of the heap. A ruler in America. His decisions effect every race of Americans in this great country. It's time for this generation of black Americans to see through the eye of Christ clearly interpreting the motives of those who oppose them, rather than leaping to racist conclusions.
Clarence Thomas said he came out of the Democratic box voting as a Republican. Great politically card to play. The Republicans were starved for a black American star with a credible education.
Judge Thomas also obtained a Yale law degree.
In his graduation photo from Yale, he says, "I had already started to realize that a degree from Yale meant one thing for whites and another for blacks." Really, then what are you doing on the American Supreme Court Clarence? Looks like your Yale degree served you well.
A very loose and irresponsible statement. Did his Yale degree mean he could only get hired as a dishwasher? No.
Did it obligate white law firms to hire him? No.
Did it make him an expert on racial discrimination because he is black? No.
Did it grant him access to court rooms across America with the same hope of representing clients as white lawyers do? Yes.
Instead of whining about white racism, Clarence Thomas needs to realize the black racist tilt in how he sees things is wimpy and unAmerican.
His politically correct black racist remarks throughout his biography do not contribute to the spiritual well being of black Americans nor to the maintenance of peaceful relations between races.
The Word of God which says: "MAN FIGHTING DAILY OPPRESSES ME," applies to whites against whites and blacks against blacks, Jews against Jews, Orientals against Orientals, Latino's against Latino's. One of the ten commandments warns us avoid false accusations. It is sinful. Yet it has become a politically correct racist practice for black Americans to leap to conclusions regarding the motives of other races.
Clarence Thomas is not lacking intelligence. His study habits are excellent. He certainly knows the law. I am sure his work on the Supreme Court is diligent. No Slave Master puts the whip to his back or requires him to work without pay. His paychecks come with nice numbers on them few ever receive of any race regularly in America.
No one takes his children to the slave market to sell them off to another Slave Master.
He has all he needs to eat and much much more. His mechanical horse is one the very finest made on four wheels.
His home is lavish. His wife dresses in the best.
I am sure he can afford servants to wait on him and his family of any race he chooses. Would it be discriminatory for Clarence Thomas to hire white servants?
You want to hire the best money can buy, don't you! But lets say he hired blacks! Birds of a feather stick together. There is nothing wrong or demeaning to black Americans if he chooses them to serve him in his estate.
And if he chooses Koreans or Latino's. Its his money isn't it?
The volcano of anger hidden in Clarence Thomas's heart is of his own making. He has made himself miserable many a day of his life with a continuing pity party over being despised for being black while many love him irregardless of his skin color.
Why should we give even the slightest thought of concern over evil men despising us when we know for certain a true and just God reigns on the throne in heaven, and he will cast them down into the depths of hellfire and damnation if they do not repent and get the love of God planted in their hearts.

There is no man in this world who is loved by all, neither is God
and Christ loved by all; but the time is coming when every knee
will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord.
