Americans live in the land of opportunity even in the ghettos where impoverishment resides and is difficult to overcome. You don't have to be poor. Immigrants have arrived impoverished to the shores of America historically and within ten years have been rich.

      First of all, who said you had to get hired on by some white man when you can hire yourself out daily in many different ways? Who is to say you have to have a running vehicle or a cell phone or even a residence to lay your head? Jesus and John the baptist did a great deal of good while they were impoverished and they had no place to lay their head.

      The bottom line is an attitude of defeatism. If you are possessed of vices. If you have to have drugs and alcohol now. If you have no temperance to restrain your fleshy desires. If you are a woman and have to have a baby before you are financially secure. If you are fearful of your ability to hire yourself out as a window washer, a painter, a hauler of trash, etc. Then your lack of faith loses you favor with God Almighty and you deserve to fail.

      If you are too proud and dignified to humble yourself to hauling trash, but would rather talk it; then you are a hypocrite and you deserve to fail.

      If you like to talk about how tough you are, let's see how much labor you can endure; how much coin you can save, how much prudence you can show, how much focus you have.

      There is no justification for burning your own neighborhoods down especially for a thug like Rodney King. He got the beating he deserved and you know it. The cops who beat him unlawfully got what they deserved when they had to resign and leave Los Angeles. We are all better off without them but the injustices of mob violence in the African American community toward innocent business people of other races and your own infrastructure is inexcusable. There is no doubt you are ill led and desperately in need of the spiritual cure the Lord of glory is offering while there is yet time.

      You are responsible for your own economic bondage with few exceptions. If you were born crippled, you might be an exception; but even there we live in the land of opportunity and there are many resources available to you if you are not one of those who likes to shoot your mouth off and slam doors in your own face.

A WHITE MAN MORE AFRICAN THAN AFRICAN AMERICANS?

      Ever heard of Roger Whittaker? Well, he's an old man who grew up in Kenya where he learned to speak African with the beautiful flavor of a happy African and to whistle like they do there which as a musician; he developed into a superhuman skill.

      What's my point? To begin with, every African is not black skinned. Roger Whittaker is African. He speaks African wonderfully while native born African Americans probably do not know more than a few words of some African dialect.

      He is rich in talent and you can be rich in talent too if you will only realize your focus on racism is obstructing your thinking processes. If a racist does something offensively but harmless, you have no need nor time to dwell on it unless you intend to make a career of it. Why should you bring yourself down by complaining about something you most likely cannot fix anyway? Besides its not your problem just so long as you do not become a counter-racist, that is; someone who reacts unnecessarily to the offensiveness of racial bigotry and discrimination.

      The anointed King David said, "I complained and my spirit was overwhelmed." If there is anything you can do to bring yourself into grief and depressions, it is whining about racism where-ever you go to whomsoever you can get to listen to you.

      The bottom line is he was born in Africa and you may have been born in America. Who do you think is more African then? The racism black Americans are suffering from has nothing to do with birthplace; ... its color related; and if someone doesn't like your race,....maybe, just maybe; your race has given them plenty of good reasons to not like your race. So give up your counter-racism lest you become bigots like them and continue the vicious cycle!
