Seeing it could become an infinite book identifying Who God Is from the Scriptures, it seems wise after thirty five chapters to begin to collect just those verses which will add to your knowledge of Him:

God cannot be tempted.

God choose Israel from the beginning and will never abandon her permenently.

It is to the glory of God to conceal a matter. Proverbs 25:2

Draw near to God and He will draw near to you. St. James 4:8

God is a Covenant Maker. He makes the Covenant and He makes it happen.

God takes pleasure in those who fear him. Psalm 147:6/11

God heals the broken hearted. Psalm 147:1/5

God is cheered by wine. St. John 8:13

God is immovable.

The goodness and severity of God. romans 11:22

God is angry only for a moment. Psalm 30:5

God is clothed with majesty and strength. Psalm 93:1

God does not faint. Isaiah 40:28

God humbles himself to behold heaven and earth. Psalm 113:6

God sometimes closes his ear to the righteous. Jeremiah 7:16
