When we study the growing police State in America, we are delving into the dark side of human nature at work in our police agencies. The problem throughout history has been the accumulation of too much power by people in power which they are almost certain to abuse. Abuse of power always seems like the path of least resistance to those in power and the use of power allows the arrogant and egotistical to express their evil nature without the normal restraits of law and order.
In March of 2007 the FBI was in hot water with lawmakers in Washington when it was discovered they had contracts with three telephone companies on about 3000 phone numbers for the obtaining of billing records and subscriber information without issuing NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS.
NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS like the Homeland Security Agency are names with built in halo's. It would appear to be unpatriotic to not honour a NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER were one presented by the FBI to a company for the obtaining of confidential information from their customer files. After all, its for national security is it not?
The Inspector General of the Justice Department found widespread problems in how the FBI used NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS to gather phone, bank and credit information on thosuands of citizens without court oversight. Here we find an agency stretching its powers as will always happen when any agency is given power without strict oversight and severe punishment for violations of the law they are supposed to uphold.
Those who are given power are never satisfied with it. They always want more. The problem the FBI has with a NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER is its visibility. A NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER on file at a public company could easily fall into the hands of those whose information was compromised, and a class action law suit would follow. Furthermore, their cover in an investigation would become known by those under investigation.
So the FBI promoted themselves, and in doing so; they moved the nation closer to an out of control police State activity. The founders of this great nation built balanced accountability into the executive, legislative and judicial branches of our government. By not issuing NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS to obtain confidential records, the FBI agents in the field became little dictators who could get information on their girlfriend's boyfriend and put him under surveillance at taxpayer's expense. This is just an example. The fact FBI agents have been obtaining private records without NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS proves the agency under Robert S. Mueller III operated illegally and is unpatriotic. There is rotten fruit on their spiritual tree.
Instead of taking away their NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER powers, Congress listened to Mueller's excuses, growled at them and sent them back to work.
The out of control power grab by government agencies nationwide is traceable to the so called Patriot Act of 2001. Congress reauthorized the Patriot Act in 2006 with the FBI promising to use its investigative powers carefully.
NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS have long been popular with law enforcement. The 2001 Patriot Act made them even easier to get in terrorism and espionage cases. The act also for the first time permitted FBI agents in the field to issue the letters. A power previously reserved for officials at FBI headquarters.
By empowering police officers in the field with dictatorial powers, the individual officer is enabled to escape scrutiny and do whatever the dark side of their human nature desires.
Mueller did what Police Chiefs across the nation are doing. He covered up for the transgressors at the agency by saying he was to be "held accountable." This is not a tactic of worldly wisdom the public notices, but for those of who are training in SPIRITUAL WARFARE; the smokescreen ought to be obvious.
Mueller does not want to give up the dictator in the field powers FBI agents now possess. Had he put the transgressors on trial, the power to dictate NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS to public companies would have been taken away from his agency; but by keeping officers in the field empowered; Mueller retains POWER over the empowered.
Giving power to an agency is not the problem. Lack of accountability and punishment for violating the power is the problem. AT&T Corporation, MCI Inc., Sprint Corporation and Qwest Communications Internation Inc. are the major long distance carriers at this time in America. They receive requests for information from federal, state and local authorities for calling records every day.
In other words, compromising confidential information has become so commonplace the companies do not ask for a NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER to justify the deed and provide for the possibility of hard evidence for accountability in the judiciary system. This may not alarm you, but it means the government has married itself to the richest of the rich corporations in this nation's communications in such a way as to allow surveillance of anyone without a cause.
Here's how it all got started. In 1986 Congress authorized the FBI to obtain electronic records without approval from a judge by issuing NATIONAL SECURITY LETTERS. The FBI could obtain records only for people suspected of being agents of a foreign power.
Great! We want spies from foreign countries to be spied on. After all, we are American aren't we? Our nation won World War II on two major battlefronts at about the same time. I don't know of any nation in the history of mankind that produced so many weapons, put so many soldiers into the field; and conquered so many countries in one war as this nation UNDER GOD did.
Come 1993 the NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER powers was expanded to include anyone suspected of communicating with foreign agents about terrorism or espionage.
Okay! That sounds good! We want to catch the whole crowd of spies and not just the spy. And with a NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER on file at the company where the confidential information was obtained, the American public was protected if they were innocent and found out they were under surveillance. There remained the possibility they could legally supoena the NATIONAL SECURITY LETTER into court to challenge it.
The Patriot Act of 2001 crossed the line into Police State activity authorizing the obtaining of anyone's information. The individual no longer has to be under suspicion. The power to obtain anyone's information is possessed by FBI agents everywhere in the United States.
We need to envision where this is all going, when we shall be HATED OF ALL NATIONS FOR THE NAME OF JESUS. When the government becomes totally antichrist the FBI will be able to go after your information without your being under suspicion according to the original intent of the law. The system is moving into place to persecute believers in Jesus Christ throughout America. The police State is growing right before your eyes!!!

Let those with eyes to see, see and ears to hear, hear.
